If you are a mind the graph user, you know that we have thousands scientific illustrations available to our users. However, we know sometimes isn’t easy to think about the template to combine illustrations, text and colors. But the arrangement is very important to create professional graphical abstracts. So, to help you, we provide new templates weekly. If you are a subscriber, you can choose start from them instead of a blank canvas.
Free users can visualize the templates but not edit them. If you are a free user, you can use the template as an inspiration to your creation or upgrade your plan to have access to all features of Mind the Graph.
As we have an amazing library with illustrations of human anatomy, this week we decide to created templates showing the urinary system with focus on kidney structure and renal diseases. I hope you enjoy our creations.
Graphical abstracts of the urinary system
The Urinary System is a group of organs in the body concerned with filtering out excess fluid and other substances from the bloodstream. The kidneys are the primary organs of the urinary system. They are bean-shaped organs located just below the rib cage in the middle of the back. The kidneys remove urea — waste product formed by the breakdown of proteins — from the blood through small filtering units called nephrons.
